Generations of parents have passed down the culture of Thailand through

The Naga is a mystical

Naga exists in the
boundary world between Earth and Heaven according to the three spiritual

This story is passed down from generation to
generation and celebrated in October by huge crowds who gather to see
the dozens of fire balls rise from the Mekong River into the night sky
of the end of Buddhist Lent Day (Oak Pansa Day.)
Thai cultural
history teach that thousands of years before Buddhism reached Thailand,

the Naga.
The Naga Fireballs are a fact that is witnessed
annually by huge crowds but still remain a mystery. Hundreds of orange
fireball rise into the sky from the middle of Mekong River in the night
of End of Buddhist Lent Day. The fireballs range from golf ball to
basketball size.
Some make a scientific claim that the fire balls
are naturally occurring methane gas rising from the riverbed. But can
science explain why this mystery happens at the end of Buddhist Lent Day
according to lunar calendar? Moreover, why does the whole year pass
without the event until the coming of the special day?
Others can
claim they are faked by well meaning tricksters each year, but in all
the years of the event being witnessed by thousands the fakers have
never been caught.
